The Destruction of Old Trees Promoted by The Town Of Aurora Ontario

Old-growth trees are not just timber; they are the emotional and ecological anchors of our communities. They provide massive cooling networks, clean the air we breathe, and hold a profound place in our shared American heritage. When we allow developers to bulldoze these giants instead of building around them, we strip the soul right out of our neighborhoods. A society that fails to respect its oldest living witnesses is a society losing its connection to the earth.

That is what happened in Aurora Ontario in June 2026. Two of the old trees in Cradock Park were destroyed. 360 and 380 years old with the accord if people we pay to protect the trees.

If you had the power, would you pass strict laws making it illegal to cut down healthy trees over 150 years old?

#OldGrowth #TreeProtection #SaveOurForests

We the tax payers pay fir.the decision of two people that are paid to.protect the environment and they use the tax Prayers to destroy the old trees in the town if Aurora.

The removal of old trees in Aurora, Ontario, is decided and regulated by the Town of Aurora through its Parks Division, Municipal Arborist, and Town Council.

The two primary individuals responsible for evaluating and managing tree removal decisions at the operational municipal level in Aurora, Ontario, are:
• Ian Bryant – The Town of Aurora's Head/Municipal Arborist. He is the frontline expert who conducts assessments on problem trees and reviews technical forestry operations. [1, 2]
• Matthew Volpintesta – The Manager of Parks and Fleet for the Town of Aurora. Under the Town of Aurora Tree Protection Bylaws, tree removal permit applications are processed through his management division before being approved or escalated. [, 2]

Some of the oldest trees 360 and 380 years old trees destroyed at the aproval of the two people.

These are the last two trees  destroyed at the request of these people.
Last month other large trees were cut in Fkeur park with the intentions to build sheds in their place.

Few years ago same "bright minds" decided to create a statue from a living trees that was 230 years old. And because the first old tE was not enough they cut the second one. That is in the park adiacent with Industrial Parkway street.

It is a sad day for Aurora when those paid to protect nature act for the destruction of nature .these trees were older that Canada.
Igurss that some companies needed to be paid to cut the trees and those two were getting something out of it.

Other trees were destroyed when the two old mother father trees felt.

I would fire the two people immediately.  I never agreed to finance such people.from my tax dollars.

The old trees were affected by chemtrails which these officialities do not protest not they protest the installations of 5g towers all over the pace that affect us and nature alike.

Old trees could have been attraction points in Aurira as they are in other countries but those people cannot appreciate it.

This is a transversal section of a tree that is iver 1 m long.

Some.houses that have a lifespan of 100 years are.mote important that a living tree 380 years old for these parazitar minds.

The trees retain the history of the land .
Old trees communicate with young trees teaching them how to protect themselves against diseases against the weather.

These trees provided house for.wildlife.
Old trees have been cut in the past on this area and a desertification phenomenon occurred and the watershed decreased..
There were 6 lighing companies that destroyed old forests on this land and then they left ecological disaster.
Today's arborists are probably the descenents if thise parasitar ancestors.

There is a curse of the trees.
Not long ago it was a tornado in Aurora.  One tree was affected. But the same "arborists" decided to cut 34 trees using out tax dollars. A lot if houes that ha old trees removed were  placed fir sale short time  after even though the trees could have been left alone.

You cannot destroy life withouth consequences.

The Plague of Deforestation

Why make the forests parking lots or shoppcentres?
If the salmon dissappear the owls will go silent, the ancient trees will dissappear that is wrong. We need to do different choices
Forest has medicinal herbs forest provide oxygen provide shelter to birds and wild life we cannot consider the forest a resource.
Some consider people resource human resources fir the greed of few mentally ill with greed.
The animal are changing their behaviors as the result if human pressure.

The bear of the forest is the symbol of courage the tree is the symbol for memory. We need to fight for stopping  logging forever. the Eart and reforestation the earth. It is wrong to cut a 800 years old tree to build a 40 years old house.

This is a task bigger that us but we need to stop logging companies to destroy the environment and governments to profit from that destruction.
Old groves need protection not management.
We need to make a choice to act instead of being complicit to the destruction of the forests.
Humanity willful blindness  has a large capacity for destruction but some of us choose ti oppose the destruction.
We can protect the forests the ecosystems and stop the destruction of the logging companies.

Deforestation in The Name of Progress

It was more than a myth; it was a documented reality. The Last Giant Silicon Tree, captured in a photograph from 1899, was so vast that people could traverse its stump as if it were a dance floor. This remarkable specimen of nature, among the tallest and most enduring, stood proudly for centuries until it succumbed to the pressures of industrial logging. The now-iconic image captures a pivotal moment in time, when humanity was just beginning to impose order on untamed natural environments. What ensued was a wave of deforestation that surpassed the scale of even the grandest trees. This photograph transcends mere historical significance; it evokes deep emotions and compels us to reflect: how many invaluable giants did we eliminate before we recognized their sacredness?

Portugal

Picture this: you’re driving down a Portuguese highway, the sun blazing overhead, and suddenly you spot rows of fruit trees — figs, oranges, plums, olives — all free for anyone to pick. No vendors. No fences. Just food growing openly along the road, waiting to be shared.

Across Portugal, forgotten strips of land beside highways are being reborn as “fruit walls” — long edible corridors cultivated for public use. What began as a simple pairing of farmers with extra saplings and municipalities with unused land has grown into a movement of generosity woven directly into infrastructure.

These roadside orchards don’t just feed people — they stabilize soil, reduce emissions through dense green cover, and offer natural shade to travelers. Community volunteers and farming co-ops maintain the trees with care, pruning, watering, and keeping the tradition pesticide-free. Hand-painted signs identify fruit varieties, inviting travelers to pick what they can eat on the spot, preserving a culture of respect over exploitation.

Portugal’s fruit walls prove that public land doesn’t have to be empty — it can nourish. It can welcome. It can remind us that food and kindness don’t always need a price tag.
